Detroit radio fans can heave a collective sigh of relief: Drew and Mike are talking again, says WRIF morning show host Mike Clark. A lot of hurt feelings were vented during the past few days, especially by Drew Lane, as fallout from his announcement he won't return to the top-rated "Drew and Mike" morning show reverberated through the city. There appears to be some healing of the ruptured relationship between Lane and his former radio partner Mike Clark, who has forged on without Lane since September... Ann Arbor News:

Whiz kids from Ann Arbor's Huron High School will compete against students from Davison on Monday evening's "High School Challenge,'' the half hour rapid-recall game show features teams of students from area high schools. Michigan Television, the public TV station from the University of Michigan (Ch. 28 over the air or Comcast Ch. 24), airs the show at 5:30 p.m ... Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter Eric Lichtblau will be special guest on Monday's "The Lynn Rivers Show'' on WEMU (89.1 FM)... On the Air: Huron to match brains on TV quiz (Sun, 4/27)

The switch from analog television sets to digital sets has hit the pocketbooks of more than just consumers; it's also costing retailers. The Federal Communications Commission has fined several large retail corporations more than $6 million this month for noncompliance with federal labeling regulations relating to the sales of analog devices, such as television sets that will be affected by the digital broadcast switch in 2009...
