Cumulus, UM Football Raise Money For Hospitals- Four CUMULUS/ANN ARBOR, MI radio stations will take part in a 12-hour radio-a-thon featuring UNIV. of MICHIGAN coaches, football players, health care experts and patients to benefit U-M C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital. The participating stations are Sports Talk WTKA-A, Country WWWW, AAA WQKL (107ONEFM) and Progressive Talk WLBY-A to benefit U-M C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital. As part of the 12-hour radio-a-thon event, head football coach RICH RODRIGUEZ -- along with other MICHIGAN coaches, players and former players -- will be on the air talking about MICHIGAN Football, and raising awareness for the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital building project and fund-raising campaign. In 2007, the radio-a-thon helped to raise more than $137,000 for the children's and women's hospitals.
