Detroit Free Press:

Linda Lanci departs WMGC's mornings: For over two decades, Linda Lanci has been getting up around 4 a.m. most weekday mornings. That was a requirement for serving as one of Jim Harper's affable radio sidekicks, first at WNIC-FM (100.3) and for the past seven years at WMGC-FM (105.1). Today will be the last day of that portion of her life. And post-11 a.m., she'll launch the next chapter -- as a commercial voiceover queen (General RV, Crittenden Hospital, GM and more), part-time station goodwill ambassador and picking up the personal burden of caring for elderly parents now living in Florida... Names and Faces (Fri, 6/27)
