Flint Journal:
Tiger Woods may not be coming to town this week, but that doesn't mean the $5-million Buick Open is going to get any less exposure than usual. In fact, there will be more television coverage than ever before. In addition to the local coverage and the usual national telecasts by CBS Sports on the weekend, Golf Channel will be broadcasting live all four days from Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club ... Locally, Channels 5, 12 and 25 will all be providing additional coverage. Channel 12's Drive To The Buick specials will air for 30 minutes nightly at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday before expanding to 60 minutes at 7 p.m. Sunday ... All three stations will also provide updates on their newscasts throughout the day. Channel 5's 30-minute Best Of The Buick specials will air nightly at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday ...
