Radio and Records:

Bo Money Named OM In Detroit: On Monday, July 28, Clear Channel urban WQBT (94.1 the Beat)/Savannah, Ga., PD/afternoon personality Bo Money will begin working as OM for Radio One/Detroit. He will oversee urban WHTD (Hot 102.7), urban AC WDMK (105.9 Kiss FM) and gospel WCHB-AM, and will handle the day-to-day programming for Hot 102.7 and WCHB. Bo Money replaces Al Payne, who has held this position while working as PD of Radio One urban WKYS (93.9 Kiss)/Washington since May 12.

About his new role, Bo Money says, "I am energized and excited for the opportunity to join the Radio One family. I am really looking forward to making the move to Detroit and I am ready to have a positive impact on the stations, and even the city. I can't wait to get started and become an integral part of such a great company in a vibrant and challenging market."

According to Radio One/Detroit VP/GM Kathy Stinehour, "Bo's years of experience, knowledge and genuine love for radio will not only benefit Radio One Inc., but also our listeners and advertisers. His proven ability to focus on building high performance organizations and his commitment to the interactive platform will be key in the future growth and development of Radio One/Detroit."

Bo Money has held his current position for the last seven years and previously worked in programming at Clear Channel/St. Louis for urban KATZ-FM and urban AC KMJM (2000-2001) and in marketing/NTR for Jacor Communications from 1998 to 2000. (Mon, 7/14)

Greater Media Stations Stream To iPhones: GREATER MEDIA AC WMGQ (MAGIC 98.3)/NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ; Oldies WMTR-A and Rock WDHA/DOVER; and Rock WRAT/MONMOUTH-OCEAN began streaming to iPHONES on FRIDAY with the launch of the 3G version of APPLE's device. Talk WBT-A-F and Talk WLNK (107.9 THE LINK)/CHARLOTTE and Rock WRIF/DETROIT will soon join the other stations in providing an iPHONE stream.

Marshall Out, Reynolds In As PD At WTWR: CUMULUS Top 40 WTWR/TOLEDO PD/afternooner STEVE MARSHALL exits. ALL ACCESS hears CHRIS REYNOLDS will take over as PD effective immediately. REYNOLDS was previously at CITADEL AC WFMK/LANSING, where he spent 7 years as PD/afternooner. (Mon, 7/14)


WYCD Hosts Annual Golf Tourney/Redneck Reunion: CBS RADIO Country WYCD/DETROIT will host the annual EDWARDS & LEE WYCD GOLF TOURNEY AND REDNECK REUNION at the LAKES OF TAYLOR in TAYLOR, MI today (7/14) beginning at 9a (ET). The event will benefit CAMPFIRE USA and features 18 holes of golf, dinner provided by FAMOUS DAVE'S BBQ, a chance to win a new car & a motorcycle and a 4p (ET) concert from ROCKY COMFORT RECORDS/NASHVILLE artist TRACY LAWRENCE.
