Veggies are out, Fuse re-lit

After a stunt featuring nothing but songs from the children's oriented Veggie Tales group as 'Veggie Radio', WPRJ FM 101.7 Mt. Pleasant/Midland relaunched its contemporary Christian format and kept the same name as The Fuse. The station is running jockless for 101 hours through the coming weekend.

 


 

WLUN hires sales director

Lance LeFevre has been hired to serve as the director of sales for ESPN 100.9-FM (WLUN). In this role, LeFevre is in charge of all radio sponsorship sales and maintaining relationships with the station's partners. LeFevre previously worked with the Great Lakes Loons as a corporate account executive. He joined the Loons in 2006 as an employee at the Loon Loft, the Loons' official team store. He was promoted to a full-time position prior to the start of the 2007 season. LeFevre brings more than 20 years of management experience to ESPN 100.9-FM.

WLUN was launched on March 25, 2008 and operates an all-sports FM radio format. ESPN 100.9-FM is the flagship radio home for Great Lakes Loons baseball and carries ESPN Radio's featured daytime shows Mike & Mike in the Morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd and Tirico & Van Pelt, ESPN Radio's Major League Baseball package, and the HUGE Show with Bill Simonson.
