New Marquette area stations sign on

Within in the past couple of weeks, two new radio stations near Marquette have reportedly started regular operations. WUPF FM 100.3 introduced a classic hits format as 'The Point' and broadcasts from an antenna located between Marquette and Ishpeming providing both cities with a city-grade signal.

WUPG FM 96.7 is featuring an adult hits format operating from western Marquette county near Michigamme. Both WUPF and WUPG are owned by Radioactive, LLC.
