• Central Michigan University student station WMHW FM 91.5 Mt. Pleasant, which features primarily a modern rock format, has been granted a construction permit granted to change effective radiated power from 13,000 watts (vertical) @ 459 feet directional to a non-directional 9,100 watts @ 538 feet, increasing the station's Mid-Michigan coverage area for the second time in recent years. Most of the increased coverage area would be in Gratiot and Midland counties.
• Pop WJSZ FM 92.5 Ashley was granted a construction permit to change effective radiated power from 2,000 watts @ 400 feet to 4,000 watts @ 400 feet with a directional antenna. The change would give the station some increased coverage area in Gratiot and Clinton counties.
• SAID News Foundation was granted a construction permit for a new Class A FM station to be licensed at 90.9 Hanover. WJKZ would operate with 500 watts @ 161 feet with a directional antenna located along the southern border of Jackson county (southwest of the city of Jackson).
