Lansing State Journal:
Rich Michaels - long one of Lansing's best-known disc jockeys - today began a five-day suspension. Brent Alberts, the operations manager for Citadel Broadcasting, said only that the suspension was for "personal comments" Michaels made on the air Monday. He did not elaborate, and Michaels couldn't be reached for comment. Michaels is the morning DJ on WMMQ (94.1-FM). Alberts said the suspension was given Tuesday afternoon; the station aired a general apology, and Michaels will return to the air Aug. 20. DJ on WMMQ (94.1-FM) suspended (Wed, 8/13)
