Sameulsen headed for WRIF in October

Former WDFN morning host Jamie Sameulsen has been hired to anchor sports coverage for the Mike in the Morning show on Greater Media's WRIF-FM. Jamie spent nearly 14 years at WDFN before exiting last month and is currently sitting out a non-compete period. He's expected to join the gang at Rif starting October 3rd.

 


 

Detroit Free Press:

Wayne State-run public radio station WDET-FM (101.9) is looking for a new permanent general manager. Allen Mazurek, who guided the station through its change from a music-oriented format to news and talk since December 2005 operating with interim titles, is moving to a post overseeing the station's digital platform operations... WDET looking for new general manager (Thu, 9/4)

The Pistons TV schedule was announced today and the only games on over-the-air broadcast television will be nationally televised on ABC (Channel 7 in Detroit). FSN and FSN-plus will show 70 Pistons games. Four games will be nationally televised on TNT, and five will be on ESPN. Last season, a handful of games were aired on both Channel 20 and Channel 4 locally. The three games on ABC are Feb. 1 against Cleveland (2:30 p.m.), March 1 against Boston (1 p.m.) and March 22 against Miami (1 p.m.)... Pistons' TV schedule released, only 3 games on over-the-air (Wed, 9/3)
