Nothern Star Broadcasting sells WIDG AM 940

The Straits area will likely be losing an all-sports radio station soon as Northern Star Broadcasting has agreed to sell its WIDG AM 940 for $100,000 to Baraga Broadcasting pending FCC approval and closing. It's likely that Baraga will offer its religious (Catholic) format on the station - Baraga owns and operates Catholic WTCK FM 90.9 Charlevoix along with translators in Gaylord and Mackinaw City.
