WLUN kicks off High School Playoff coverage

High school football playoffs are here, and ESPN 100.9-FM will start its five-week march to Ford Field with a pair of games Halloween weekend. Coverage begins Friday, October 31 at 6pm with a special High School Football Preview Show, hosted by Brad Golder, live from Bay City Western High School in Auburn. Our panel of experts will preview all the weekend matchups, including Western's rematch against Traverse City Central, the only school to hand the Warriors a defeat in 2008.

Then at 6:30pm, coverage shifts to Midland Community Stadium, where the Chemics take on Saginaw Arthur Hill. Dan Hasty and Terry Wilczek will provide live play-by-play coverage of the Saginaw Valley League matchup, with live updates from the Bay City Western-Traverse City Central game. The game will be followed by WNEM's Friday Night Lights post-game show.

Live play-by-play coverage continues on ESPN 100.9-FM Saturday, November 1 from John Glenn High School in Bangor Township as the Bobcats face Escanaba. Coverage begins at 4pm, immediately following the Michigan State-Wisconsin game.
