There's a flip side to the buyers' rush for glitzy digital televisions ahead of the coming switch in broadcasting systems -- on Feb. 18 in most areas. It's not a pretty picture. Environmentalists expect a glut of old-style televisions to pile up at curbsides on trash-collection days and in landfills. To avoid that, a small firm called Classic Computer Recycling is holding collection days in metro Detroit for old televisions and other junk electronics, such as computers... TV recycling offered as February digital switch nears (Sat, 11/15)
