ESPN 100.9 FM to present high school playoff tripleheader

High school football fans rejoice! ESPN 100.9-FM, WLUN, will present a tripleheader of high school football regional playoff action this weekend. Additionally, all three games will be simulcast on WNEM Newradio 1250.

Dan Hasty and Coach Terry Wilczek will call the action live from Boyd Field, plus Brad Golder and Justin Davis will provide live updates from the Freeland Falcons' matchup with Ovid-Elsie. Following the game, Wes Goheen and Steve Duncan will anchor coverage of Friday Night Lights, live from the studios of WNEM Newradio 1250.

Saturday's games feature a pair of local teams. Coverage is scheduled to start at 1:30pm as the 9-2 John Glenn Bobcats travel across the state to battle the 10-1 East Grand Rapids Panthers. Golder and Wilczek will provide the live play-by-play coverage, with scoreboard updates from Standish-Sterling versus Gladstone, Bay City All Saints versus Frankfort and Deckerville versus Beal City.

Later on Saturday, Midland High (10-1) plays host to Davison (8-3) in a rematch of last year's 7-3 Chemic win. Hasty and Wilczek will call the action at our featured Saginaw Valley League Playoff Game of the Week.

Following the Midland/Davison game, Goheen and Duncan will anchor a Saturday edition of Friday Night Lights, with scores and analysis of all the weekend's regional matchups.
