• Talk WPIQ FM 92.7 Manistique was granted a construction permit to change from a Class A station operating with 6,000 watts @ 157 feet to Class C2 which would broadcast with 24,500 watts @ 713 feet. The station's transmitter would also move from just east of Manistique to the west near the border of Schoolcraft and Delta counties. Coverage area of WPIQ would be greatly increased.
• Horizon Christian Fellowship was granted its license to cover for FM translator W242BP 96.3 Three Rivers. The translator was previously licensed at FM 106.9 as W295AK.
