• The construction permit for Kovas Communications construction permit to move WCGO AM to 1020 Jenison/Grand Rapids has been modified to change the broadcast location. The modified CP now shows WCGO would operate as a triplex with WJNZ AM 1140 and WPRR AM 1680 from east of Grand Rapids.
WCGO was granted its initial construction permit to move from AM 1600 in Chicago Heights, IL to Jenison on AM 1020 as a 10,000 watt daytime-only station in December 2007. WCGO, along with two other Chicago area AM stations, is being moved by Kovas in order to upgrade the company's WONX AM 1590 Evanston/Chicago.
