Detroit News:
The November sweeps book has closed, and WJBK-TV (Channel 2) has once again emerged as the morning champion. The local Fox affiliate boasts the highest ratings in the a.m. seven days a week. The domination began at 6 a.m. weekdays when "Fox 2 News Morning" pulled in a 3.3 rating among adults 18-49 compared to local newscasts on WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) with a 1.6 rating and WDIV-TV (Channel 4), which garnered a 1.4 rating. Among women 25-54, WJBK drew a 4.2 rating, WXYZ had a 3.0 rating and WDIV landed a 2.7 rating. Each local rating point represents roughly 19,000 homes in the Metro Detroit area. Among adults 18-49, WJBK had a 3.1 rating compared to the local ABC affiliate WXYZ's 1.3 rating and the local NBC affiliate WDIV's 1.2 rating. With women 25-54, WJBK had a 4.3 rating, WXYZ drew a 2.6 rating and WDIV pulled a 2.0 rating. The same numbers carried over to the weekend... Fox 2's morning show beats 'em all (Wed, 12/3)
