WLDR Traverse City adds HD services

Country WLDR-FM 101.9 Traverse City has become the first northern Michigan radio station to adopt iBiquity's HD Radio technology and will be broadcasting three different formats from its HD-1, HD-2, and HD-3 all-digital FM channels. The HD-1 channel will feature a simulcast of Sunny Country, HD-3 will offer sports, and a yet to be announced new format will be offered on HD-2.

WLDR is promoting the addition of HD services by giving away HD radios to listeners and has notified local retailers of the availability of the service in the Traverse City area.
