• WKBD DT Ch. 14 was granted a construction permit for a power increase from 58,700 watts @ 883 feet to 180,000 watts @ 883 feet. This construction permit replaces one that expired in 2007 and should provide improved coverage for the station's digital broadcasts. WKBD also plans on increasing power again once it can replace the Channel 50 analog antenna with a new digital antenna for use on Channel 14 once analog broadcasts cease in Feburary 2007.
• Variety hits WUPF FM 107.3 Powers/Escanaba has been granted a construction permit to increase effective radiated power from 25,000 watts @ 318 feet (Class C3) to 50,000 watts @ 318 feet (Class C2) from its current antenna location.
• W225AV 92.9 Bessemer, a translator of religious WRVM Suring, WI, was granted a license to cover for a change in its broadcast location in Gogebic county.
