WZUU Kalamazoo drops Mancow, Scotty Bud moves to mornings on Monday

Changes are coming to the on-air lineup on Kalamazoo's rocker 92.5 WZUU-FM starting Monday April 13th. Kalamazoo radio veteran Scotty 'Bud' Melvin will be taking over the morning show (6 - 10 a.m.) and waking up Southwest Michigan again, something he did for fifteen years prior to arriving at WZUU. "Mancow's Morning Madhouse" has been dropped from the station's lineup.

Melvin was most recently host of 'The Afternooner' from 2 - 6 p.m. on WZUU. Kevin Nash will continue in the midday shift (10 a.m. - 3 p.m.) and Taz and 'The Big Dumb Radio Show' will move to 3 - 8 p.m. Scotty Bud has been on the air in the Kalamazoo area since 1987. He is also the Program Director for WZUU.

"It's going to be great to wake up with everyone again. We'll have a local flavor, talk plenty of sports, and of course play Kalamazoo's Real Rock."

Scotty Bud will be joined by Traver McLaughlin, who previously worked in sports-talk radio in Phoenix.
