University of Michigan hockey returns to AM 580

University of Michigan Hockey will be returning to CKWW AM 580 for another season starting October 3rd. AM 580 is scheduled to air 29 regular season games as part of the 2009/2010 schedule. The action gets underway Saturday, October 3rd with the "USA NTDP Under 18" game starting at 7:35 PM. Al Randall enters his 15th year as the play-by-play voice for Michigan ice hockey.

CBS RADIO Country WYCD/DETROIT will host the "Rebels For A Cause - Maddie's Ride" MAKE-A-WISH fundraiser, featuring CURB/NASHVILLE's RODNEY ATKINS. The ride will take place OCTOBER 4th, beginning at the DETROIT HARLEY-DAVIDSON and ending at BLAKE's ORCHARD and CIDER MILL in ARMADA. RODNEY will perform a concert after the ride. The event is being held in honor of MADDIE TRUDEL, who was 7-years-old when she passed away from bone cancer in NOVEMBER 2006. Prior to her passing, MADDIE's "Wish" was granted by the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION of MICHIGAN for a trip to DISNEY WORLD. MADDIE's father, PAUL, created the "Rebels For A Cause" ride to help other children's wishes come true in memory of MADDIE. For more info, click here.
