Kalamazoo Gazette:

Longtime local radio personality Lori Moore announced Monday that she is fighting breast cancer and will not be on-air while she heals. Moore, who has hosted the morning show on WKZO-AM (590) since 1995, had surgery Dec. 29. Her pathology report was good with no signs the cancer had spread, Moore said during a telephone interview Monday afternoon. Moore said she has an appointment at the West Michigan Cancer Center Wednesday to determine what comes next. Moore, whose program runs from 6 to 10 a.m. weekdays, said Monday she was sore and didn't have the energy to "get up at 3:45 in the morning at the moment," but she wants "to get back as soon as possible"...
