Saginaw News:

WHNNJohnny Burke of Frankenmuth is a morning radio personality for 96-FM WHNN. What is your typical day like? My day starts at 3:30 a.m. when I get up, make coffee and read the overnight news. After showering and driving to work for the 5:30 start time, Blondie and I broadcast the show until about 9:15 a.m. After our show, we have calls (related to programming and the Johnny Burke Children's Foundation) and e-mail to return, decisions to make about the next day's show topics, reading the news, editing jokes and meeting with sales staff about upcoming giveaways, interviews, contests and promotions. We also typically have commercial and promotional production (recordings) to do. Then we might have to go to a personal appearance, remote broadcast or business meeting with public officials or sponsors. Usually it's eight to 10 hours a day... Meet your neighbor: Johnny Burke, WHNN-FM radio personality (Fri, 3/19)
