A documentary on the women of the Saginaw Valley and a theme penned by a Flint musician was recognized by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. Delta College Public Broadcasting received 10 Broadcast Excellence Awards at the annual event held in Lansing on Wednesday, March 3. "We are emphasizing local productions that provide our listeners and viewers a window on our amazing community," said Barry Baker, general manager for Delta College Public Broadcasting. Both WDCQ-TV and Q-90.1 FM were the only television and radio stations in the Great Lakes Bay Region area to receive recognition. Delta competed against other public broadcasters in the Tri-Cities, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing and Kalamazoo... Delta's public broadcasting wins 10 awards for excellence (Thu, 3/11)
