Lansing State Journal:

WKAR-TV's "BackStage Pass" is about to go national. The East Lansing-based television music series will soon be distributed through the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA), a professional association that serves public television licensees and educational entities in all 50 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Executive Producer Tim Zeko says "BackStage Pass" has a good working relationship with the NETA. "We've submitted programming in the past to them, and they know and like our work," he said. What helped set the series apart in the selection process this time around? "Quality musical performances, video production and sound," Zeko said. "BackStage Pass," which airs on HD/23 in Lansing, is the community's prime outlet for getting local bands and singer-songwriters on the small screen...
