Fox28.com:

A pair of Michiana radio legends with a combined 85 years on the airwaves were honored Wednesday. Most of us know the names Bill Darwin and Allan Strike. Elkhart Mayor Dick Moore renamed the corner outside Froggy 102.7, the Darwin Stryke Corner. The two broadcasters have retired after long and very successful careers informing and entertaining Michiana. Darwin was actually here long before Ed and I were on WSJV-TV. He hosted Good Morning Michiana. He also worked for WTRC for decades and was well known as the host of the MDA telethon. Allan Stryke also broadcast on WTRC hosting "Sound off," "Swap Shop" and the news. Both said the renaming was an unexpected honor and that they loved helping serve in the community... Elkhart radio legends are honored (Wed, 3/31)
