• Country WFBE FM 95.1 Flint was granted program test authority and its license to cover for operations from its new antenna location in Burton. The station has moved from its longtime broadcast home at the old Flint Central high school.

• Trinity Broadcasting has taken analog LPTV station W66BV Ch. 66 Detroit off the air and applied for temporary authority to remain silent. According to the application, the "Licensee has temporarily shut down broadcast operation of W66BV, Detroit, Michigan, due to a reduction in local support which we believe is associated with the national transition from analog to digital broadcasting. The station anticipates completion of a market analysis to determine the viability and level of local support or the alternative possibility of a sale of the station. In the interim we respectfully request special temporary authority to remain dark."
