• Classic rock WRUP FM 98.3 was granted its license to cover that saw the station move into the Marquette market, exiting Munising. The station changed its community of license to Palmer, moved its broadcast location from Alger County into Marquette County where it now operates with 2,600 watts @ 1018 feet. The station's prior facilities near Munising transmitted with 32,000 watts @ 358 feet and only provided a marginal signal into Marquette.

 

• Country WWWW-FM 102.9 Ann Arbor was granted a construction permit for its new primary antenna; the station has been operating from its auxiliary facility since 2009 after being forced to move. The new facilities will operate with 50,000 watts @ 440 feet with a directional antenna located southwest of Ann Arbor.

 

• No notable activity for August 13 and 16 - 17.
