Saginaw News:

The television debut of the Michigan Jazz Trail, a concert featuring mid-Michigan talent, was captured live this summer and will be broadcast at 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 15 on Delta College's Q-TV. Several mid-Michigan artists performed during the first event held on June 19 at Midland Center for the Arts including Mike Brush and Julie Mulady, Molly McFadden and the Bistro Boys, Mary Gilbert, Good Company, Mr. Abbott, and the Michigan Jazz Trail Big Band. The band features several local musicians including Jeff Hall on saxophone and keyboard, and Carlos Melendez on guitar. The Michigan Jazz Trail concert was initiated by Molly McFadden, a Midland jazz singer. Her dream is for the communities of Midland, Saginaw, Bay City, Freeland and Mt. Pleasant to come together to celebrate our region and eventually partner with other music festivals in the state to create The Michigan Jazz Trail...
