Sports fans that subscribe to DISH Network across Michigan continue to miss the programming of Fox Sports Detroit as the impasse between Dish and Fox carries on. The situation has already caused subscribers locally to miss Detroit Red Wings regular season hockey games, and if situation isn't resolved soon, Detroit Pistons basketball broadcasts on Dish will be in jeopardy. As of November 1st, the disagreement over the cost of programming might escalate to include Fox-owned and operated broadcast station WJBK-TV Channel 2.

The lack of an agreement between the two parties began to affect viewers across the country on October 1st when 19 regional sports networks, FX, and National Geographic Channel were no longer available to Dish subscribers.

"The two sides are not actively negotiating and remain at an impasse," said FOX Sports Detroit spokesman Tim Bryant.
