After weeks of editing and refining, a wildly entertaining DVD of the 2010 Motor City Radio Reunion is now ready to purchase, with ALL of the profits going to the designated charity, the re-opening of the Detroit Belle Isle Aquarium and off-setting expenses.
The video is a full 141 minutes and covers just about every single aspect of the gala event that still has people talking. It was produced and directed by Murray Gula a 25 year media veteran and WDFN home improvement radio and TV talk show host, with co-directors Ida Goutman, Amazing Events planner, Jo-Jo Shutty-MacGregor, radio-TV news reporter for WWJ and Metro Traffic.
The DVD was completely edited by "Radio's Best Friend" Art Vuolo, Jr., who stated "it's a work of art." It's non-stop action from the start to the very end, when the whole committee reflected upon the entire evening! The reunion was emceed, for the fourth and final time, by the legendary Dick Purtan. You can see a 9 1/2 minute teaser-preview of the video on www.mcrr2010.com linked to the YouTube website.
The DVD can be ordered right now via www.mcrr2010.com. Copies can also be ordered for $24.99, plus shipping & handling, by check or money order payable to MCRR and sent to MCRR DVD, PO Box 1037, Royal Oak, MI 48068-1037. The DVD makes a great holiday gift for anyone who was there, missed the event, or just loves the rich heritage of Detroit Radio. It's an excellent "stocking stuffer" for that hard-to-buy-for radio fan on your gift list.
The production of this Official 2010 MCRR Video took many hours, days and weeks to assemble. We hope you will enjoy the memories.
