• CBS affliate WJMN-TV Ch. 3 Escanaba has been operating at 20% of its full authorized power since October 26th after some of its digital equipment sustained damage from severe storms and accompanying strong winds that occured in the U.P. Damaged equipment has been sent back to the manufacturer in France for evaluation and repair and WJMN-TV has applied for special temporary authority to operate at reduced power until repairs can be completed. Just weeks before the storm damage occured, WJMN-TV had completed the construction of its full power, full market coverage digital facilities.
