WYCDIt's a happy day in the studios of country WYCD FM 99.5 in Detroit as it was announced today that the station and both of it's drivetime shows were nominated for Academy of Country Music awards. The station itself is up for Major Market Station of the Year, while both the Dr. Don Morning Show (Dr. Don Carpenter, Rachael Hunter and Grunwald) and afternoon drive's Edwards and Lee (Chuck Edwards and Linda Lee) are on the list as possible winners of the Major Market On-Air Personality Of The Year award.

Congrats to program director Tim Roberts and the entire staff at WYCD on being one of two stations nominated for three ACM's (along with WIVK Knoxville). Roberts has one of the best problems a PD can have -- having to root equally for both of his highest profile shows to win a major country music award.
