Detroit Free Press:

He is the baritone voice of the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, heard during June and August NASCAR weekends delivering the goods over the public-address system on drivers, teams and speeds. MIS track announcer Larry Henry, 59, of West Bloomfield will be at the microphone again this season in the Irish Hills. Henry, a former on-air talent at Detroit radio stations WWJ-AM (950) and WJR-AM (760), returned earlier this week from the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring sports-car race last Saturday at Sebring International Raceway in Florida, where he broadcast on behalf of the American Le Mans Series and hosted the winner's circle celebrations. Henry spoke to Free Press auto racing reporter Mike Brudenell about his craft and passion for racing... Larry Henry is the talk of the track (Sat, 3/26)
