Radio personality Donnie Simpson said in a Facebook posting today that he wouldn't be returning to the airwaves after a one-year absence -- but don't count him out just yet. Rumors of Simpson, a Detroit native who began his career at WJLB, coming back on air stemmed from a report on AOL Black Voices. According to the report, Simpson would be hosting a late-night show that would possibly be syndicated and compete with Keith Sweat's "The Sweat Hotel," which airs locally on WMXD (92.3).
