• A legal fight dating back to 2004 over the ownership/control of low power FM station WVBH-LP FM 105.3 Benton Harbor appear to be nearing a conclusion with an application for transfer of control having been filed with the FCC. Details of the battle over the station can be found in these FCC documents: FCC Letter, July 11, 2007, Page 5 of FCC letter (missing in first file).

Essentially, in 2007 the FCC ruled that the first board to have been granted the construction permit for WVBH-LP was still the proper license holder, despite changes in board members and the organization's legal status with the State of Michigan. The FCC ruled that the second group had improperly taken control of the station and ordered it to immediately discontinue operation. Documentation on what might have caused the delay between the July 2007 FCC ruling and this filing is not readily available on the FCC web site.
