Detroit Free Press:

Charlie Sheen's batting .500 when it comes to his Detroit radio partnerships. The unpredictable star of tonight's event at the Fox Theatre worked out radio promotions this week with two stations:

• WKQI-FM (95.5)'s "Mojo in the Morning" show helped the former "Two and a Half Men" star start a YouTube contest to find a singer to open his Detroit show with "The Star-Spangled Banner."

• Over on WRIF-FM (101.1), Sheen recruited the "Drew and Mike" show to help attract a female intern, apparently for an onstage bit.

Both contests were supposed to end Friday with Sheen calling the stations to announce the winners. But producers from both shows got late calls asking for the scheduled Friday interviews to be changed to around 9 p.m. Thursday... Charlie Sheen shows love to Detroit ahead of tonight's appearance (Sat, 4/2)
