• New station WTCY FM 88.3 Greilickville / Traverse City has signed on and is simulcasting the religious/Catholic programming of sister station WTCK FM 90.9 Charlevoix.


• The FCC approved Coolarity A2, LLC's purchase of talk WAAM AM 1600 Ann Arbor from Ann Arbor First Ventures LP for $1,050,000.


• Also approved by the FCC was the sale of Heartland Communications trio of Houghton radio stations (classic hits WOLV-FM 97.7, country WHKB-FM 102.3, and standards WCCY AM 1400) for $535,000 to Houghton Community Broadcasting.
