Detroit Public Television to salute veterans with July 4th airing of Our Vietnam Generation

Michigan veterans who served during the Vietnam war will be be the focus of a one-hour program set to air on Monday, July 4th at 9:30 PM on Detroit's WTVS-TV Channel 56. Veterans of the Vietnam war fought on a battlefield as brutal as any other, and more deadly than most wars in the history of the United States.

To give these veterans a voice, Director/Producer Keith Famie and Executive Producer Bob Gillette share stories of service and heroism from area veterans who served in Vietnam.
