A bolt of lightning struck a Muskegon radio station Friday morning, knocking the station off the air and possibly causing thousands of dollars in damage to its broadcast equipment, officials said. No one was hurt when lightning struck the studio of 103.7 The Beat, 1877 Peck, and caused a small fire that firefighters quickly extinguished.

MACDONALD BROADCASTING Country WKCQ/SAGINAW has announced the "10th Annual KCQ Drive To End Hunger Golf Outing," on TUESDAY, AUGUST, 2nd, with a 10a (ET) shotgun start. Nexstar Broadcasting Completes Acquisition of CBS Affiliates WFRV-TV and WJMN-TV
Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST) announced today that it completed the previously announced purchase of the assets of WFRV-TV and WJMN-TV, the CBS affiliates serving the Green Bay, Wisconsin and Marquette, Michigan markets, and has appointed Joseph Denk Vice President and General Manager of both stations and their associated e-Media operations.
