2011 Marconi finalists feature Michigan stations, personalities
The National Association of Broadcasters has released its finalist list for the 2011 Marconi Awards and included are several Michigan radio stations and personalities:
The afternoon drive team of Edwards and Lee at country WYCD-FM 99.5 Detroit are finalists for Large Market Personality of the Year; Full service/adult contemporary WLEN-FM 103.9 Adrian is a finalist in two categories, Small Market Station of the Year and AC Station of the Year; WOMC-FM 104.3 Detroit has been named a finalist as Oldies Station of the Year, and WXYT-FM/AM 97.1/1270 Detroit is a finalist in the Sports Station of the Year category.
