106.7 The Beat jock Jevon Hollywood in critical condition after accident

WDTW-FM 106.7 night jock (10 p.m - 1 a.m.) Jevon Hollywood was hit by a car in the area of 7 Mile Road and Haggerty early this morning (July 28th) and is currently hospitalized in critical condition with injuries including a broken leg and pelvis that required surgery. Hollywood apparently stepped into a path of an oncoming vehicle before sunrise during a rainstorm.

WYCD/Detroit announces new afternoon host

Jack Shell will take over middays at country WYCD-FM 99.5 starting September 5th, filling the spot that was opened earlier this month with the departure of Mike Scott.

Shell will arrive in Detroit from Nashville where he's currently at WKDF and will also take on the role of music director at WYCD.
