• Michigan Broadcasters LLC was granted a construction permit for a new FM station to be licensed to Onaway on 106.3. The Class C2 station would operate with 50,000 watts @ 420 feet from a tower located west of Rogers City in Presque Isle County. Michigan Broadcasters LLC won the frequency for $20,000 in an FCC auction held earlier this year.

 

• Low power community FM station WUVS-LP 103.7 Muskegon was granted its license to cover for a location change within Muskegon.

 

• Heritage Broadcasting CBS affiliate WWUP-TV Ch. 10 Sault Ste Marie (satellite station of WWTV-TV Ch. 9) was granted its license to cover to increase power to 25,000 from 20,700 watts.

 

• No notable activity for July 22.
