FOX Sports Detroit sets schedule for University of Michigan football programming
Season preview kicks off Michigan Wolverines football coverage, premiers Friday, August 26; Inside Michigan Football with Brady Hoke airs Mondays starting August 29
FOX Sports Detroit's coverage of University of Michigan football includes a half-hour Wolverine Football Season Preview the university-produced weekly program Inside Michigan Football with Brady Hoke.
The preview show premieres Fri. August 26 at 6:30 p.m. with multiple re-airs in the days leading up to the Wolverines Sept. 3 season opener vs. Western Michigan (also Sat. Aug. 27, 7:30 p.m.; Sun. Aug. 29, 8:00 a.m.; Mon. Aug. 29, 12:30 p.m.; Wed. Aug. 31, 7:30 p.m.; Fri. Sept. 2, 2:00 p.m.).
The half-hour show is hosted by Mickey York with reports from Shannon Hogan, Matt Shepard, Trevor Thompson and Justin White. The season preview segments include an interview with new head coach Brady Hoke, a visit with quarterback Denard Robinson as to what fans can expect this year from one of the most exciting players in college football, an introduction to new defensive coordinator Greg Mattison, a conversation with running back Michael Shaw and a review of the backfield competition; plus the new role of the wide receivers in this offensive scheme, a profile of cornerback Troy Woolfolk as he returns from injury, and previews of the big games on the Michigan schedule including the first-ever home night game (Sept. 10 vs. Notre Dame) and the Big Ten arrival of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Inside Michigan Football with Brady Hoke, hosted by Jim Brandstatter, premieres each Monday (typically at 6:30 p.m.) starting Aug. 29, repeated Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. and Fridays at 2:00 p.m.
Each episode includes game and practice highlights, student-athlete features and in-depth analysis of past and future games.
