It was a morning of Christmas tunes, sentimental stories and fond memories as Jim Harper signed off of his WMGC-FM (105.1) morning show at 9 a.m. today. Sharing the air waves during the radio veteran's final broadcast were his current "Jim Harper in the Morning" co-hosts Cyndy Canty and Mike Bradley. Former producer Fay Samona, who left WMGC to join Port Huron's country music station WSAQ-FM (107.1)'s morning show earlier this year, also joined Harper, Canty and Bradley during today's broadcast.
