Musically, the relaunched station will feature artists such as Adele, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Journey, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, The Fray and Bon Jovi.

WSDP will continue to be run by students in the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools and provide hourly community news, live broadcasts from throughout Plymouth and Canton, live school sports from Canton, Plymouth and Salem high schools, and Plymouth Whalers Hockey.

WSDP featured an alternative rock format until December 27th, when it began stunting toward its new sound. The station's staff is working on an internet only station that will continue 88.1FM's former format, known as "The Escape."

"We're excited to bring The New 88.1 to listeners in Plymouth and Canton," said Kyle Linford, Program Director, "We look forward to serving the community in the months ahead."
