Will conservative-bent Detroit talk station WJR 760 AM replace the beleaguered "Rush Limbaugh Show" in the noon to 3 p.m. weekday slot with former Republican presidential candidate-turned-media personality Mike Huckabee's new show month? Right now, it's unclear but the station's parent company is sending messages that such a switch is very possible on its outlets.

WGVU Radio has been named Station of the Year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for 2011. WGVU Radio, a service of Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, was awarded five of seven possible Best in Category awards at the annual statewide Broadcast Excellence Awards ceremony held last week in Lansing.
