The Oakland Press:

WXOU, Oakland University's student radio station, has been named the Station of the Year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. The victory brings an end to an 11-year run of dominance by Michigan State University's college radio station, Impact 89-FM.

What might make the KCQ Country Music Fest just "A Little Bit Stronger" this year? How about Sara Evans as the free concert's headliner, with a Phil Vassar chaser? The popular outdoor concert that typically draws nearly 100,000 people to Ojibway Island in Saginaw returns Saturday, June 16, with still a third act yet to be announced.
