Detroit News:

The set of "The War Room with Jennifer Granholm" looks a lot like a politician's campaign headquarters. Posters that boast slogans like "Occupy the Majority," "Forward with Roosevelt" and "Speaker Nancy Pelosi" hang on exposed brick walls in an open, airy and modern space undeniably influenced by New York lofts.

Jason Terzis, WOOD-TV 8 weekend sports anchor for the past 14½ years, will never forget loading up his U-Haul trailer and making the long drive from Georgia to West Michigan and arriving just in time to make his on-air debut at the local NBC affiliate on Christmas Day in 1997.

He was the beefy man with the handlebar moustache known as Tom Greene to legions of television news viewers. His reports about Lansing politicians -- first on radio, then on Channels 2 and 4 in Detroit through the 1970s and '80s -- were hard-hitting, so much so that he adopted the on-air surname of Greene, although his real name was Thomas Pratt, said his wife, Dottie Pratt.
