Detroit's WXYZ-TV to add Bounce TV to digital subchannel
Bounce TV announced today that E.W. Scripps' ABC affiliate WXYZ-TV Channel 7 Detroit will add the network targeted toward African Americans to a digital subchannel.
The addition of WXYZ-TV drives Bounce TV past 75% penetration of African American television homes and to nearly 55% of the total U.S.
"By creating room on their digital spectrum for Bounce TV, WXYZ-TV clearly sees the enormous value of Bounce TV as a network that can make a difference locally. It is our privilege to be in business with E.W. Scripps and we welcome them to our growing family of Bounce TV affiliates," commented Jeffrey Wolf, Bounce TV Executive Vice President of Distribution in making the announcement. "We are thrilled that Bounce TV will be seen on such a strong station as WXYZ in such a critical market as Detroit."

CBS RADIO Top 40/Mainstream WDZH (98.7 AMP Radio)/DETROIT has named MICHAEL "MIKEY V" VINCI as its new nights host, effective MONDAY, JULY 16th. Previously, VINCI did nights and imaging for RADIO ONE Top 40/Mainstream WNOU (RADIO NOW 100.9)/INDIANAPOLIS.

MIDWESTERN BROADCASTING GROUP Sports WCCW-A (ESPN RADIO 1310 AM)/TRAVERSE CITY, MI will switch to FOX SPORTS RADIO on AUGUST 30th. The station will take FSR's entire lineup plus PREMIERE's JIM ROME.
